The Mills Pond House is a Greek Revival House built in 1838 for William Wickham Mills. It was willed to the Town of Smithtown in 1976 after all his decendents passed on. President George Washington passed through this property in 1790 with his horse and carriage. It is now where the Town of Smithtown Art's Council is based ~
MILLS POND HOUSE circa 1838
Every year at Halloween the Smithtown Art's Council has an art show called Midnight Oils. It features artists who work in the macabe and horror based art.
